But retired pilots rights that the airline fraudulently listed its resort to-flier Mileage Plus asset -- value an estimated $15 billion at the beforehand -- as a drawback in documents submitted to the court and the PBGC.

Without delay afterward, James Sprayregan, United's deceive bankruptcy attorney, accepted a job at Goldman Sachs -- one of the airline's prime creditors. The timing of Sprayregan's move should have at least piqued the interest of SEC regulators. It did not. They were otherwise occupied.
